You pick whether you're looking for boy names, girl names, or both. Then you start swiping through baby names — like, pass, or love each one. Share a session code with your partner so they can swipe independently on their own device. When you both like the same name, NameMatch reveals it as a match. You build a shared shortlist and rank your favorites together.
Your first 60 names are free, with no account needed. To keep swiping after that, subscribe: the Solo plan (US$4.99/month) for you, or the Couple plan (US$7.99/month), which also covers the partner you pair with. Plans renew automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep unlimited names until the end of the month you paid for; payments aren't refundable, except where required by law. Prices include tax. Browsing name pages, inviting your partner, and your saved likes and matches stay free.
Open Settings and choose Manage subscription. NameMatch subscriptions are billed through Link, Stripe's checkout, so you cancel or update your card on Link by signing in with the email you used at checkout. You keep unlimited names until the end of the month you paid for, and you won't be charged again. Payments aren't refundable, except where required by law.

After you start swiping, share your invite link or session code with your partner. On an eligible fresh invite, they can try a short Match Sprint with a few of your favorites before signing in. Signing in saves their picks, connects you securely, and reveals only the names you both liked. Reconnects and invites without enough favorites use the standard sign-in-first flow.
NameMatch stores your surname and avoid list in your browser and sends them only with discovery requests to personalize and filter the deck. They are not saved to your account or copied into analytics properties. We don't sell your data. Our privacy policy explains the analytics, session recordings and Google ad tags we use, and your choices.
Surname flow checks how a first name sounds with your last name, including rhythm, alliteration, rhyme, and phonetic balance. Your surname is stored in your browser and sent with a discovery request for request-scoped scoring; it is not saved to your account or analytics properties.
When both partners like or love the same name, NameMatch reveals it with a celebration — confetti, the name displayed beautifully, and both partners' reactions shown. If you both loved a name (swiped up), it's a shared favorite and gets pinned to the top of your shortlist with a gold badge.
